  • Wiise News

  • Whats coming in February 2023 for Wiise

In February 2023, Wiise will be moving to the Microsoft Business Central 2022 Wave 2 Release. This release brings a number of new features and improvements to the platform, making it more powerful and user-friendly than ever before.

    Some specific features include:

    • The ability to reverse journal entries from posted payment reconciliation journals. This means that users can now easily undo any mistakes they may have made during the reconciliation process, making it simpler and more efficient to manage their financial accounts.
    • Another notable feature is the updates to the Bank Statement reports. These reports now include payments that were outstanding when the bank reconciliation was posted, providing users with a more complete picture of their financial situation.
    • Another important update is the ability to set variant codes to mandatory. This allows users to ensure that the correct variant codes are used for their items, making it easier to manage and track their inventory.
    • The release also includes the ability to partially apply item charges. This feature allows users to apply charges to items in a more flexible and customizable way, such as applying 50% of the freight charge on the first delivery and the remaining 50% on subsequent deliveries.
    • Finally, the new Modern Action Bar is a great new feature that helps to reduce clutter and confusion. This new menu bar allows users to see only what they need on every menu in Wiise, keeping related actions together and avoiding the same action from appearing in multiple menus. This makes it easier for new users to navigate the platform and find the tools they need.

    Wiise Shopify Connection

The Wiise Shopify Connector now includes a feature called the Variant Creator, which generates variant codes for Shopify that clearly indicate the variant option. For example, if an item called “Item A” comes in sizes S, M, and L and the color blue, the variant codes will be BLU/S, BLU/M, and BLU/L.

Additionally, the Wiise Shopify Connector has been updated to import partially paid orders from Shopify, and applies the partial payment to the order and the customer journal.
